"I had an issue with my filter and..."
I had an issue with my filter and tried to get help through the warranty, but the whole process was frustrating. Maybe I missed something, but the return instructions didn’t feel very clear, and I kept going back and forth over email with slow replies. I also had to explain the same problem more than once, which made me wonder if anyone was really looking into it. The product might work fine for other people, but for me, the support after buying just wasn’t great

"It turned my faucet into a slow drip"
I was actually excited to install this, thinking it would make things easier in the kitchen. But right after I put it on, I went to fill a glass of water and just stood there waiting... and waiting. The flow had slowed down so much that something as simple as getting a drink felt like a chore. It technically works, but the water comes out so slowly now that it’s been more frustrating than helpful

The water definitely tasted better after using it, maybe like 20-30% better to me, but the filter itself felt expensive for what it is. Shipping also took around a week or so longer than I expected. Setup wasn’t bad, maybe 10 minutes total, but for the price, I’m not totally sure I’d buy it again.

"Didn’t fit my sink and honestly wore me out"
I ordered the hydroviv filter thinking it would be a quick, easy install, but it didn’t fit my kitchen faucet the way I expected. The adapter pieces just weren’t matching up right, and after a long day, dealing with that left me feeling mentally drained.

Customer service was decent enough, but there was a lot of back and forth trying to figure out if there was any way to make it work. I know stuff like this happens, but it was frustrating when I just wanted to get it hooked up and be done with it.

It might be totally fine if you have a more standard faucet setup, but definitely check yours before ordering. I really wish the website made the compatibility details clearer upfront so I could’ve avoided the hassle.

"I thought replacing the filter would be..."
I thought replacing the filter would be a quick little Saturday morning thing, like 10 minutes tops before I made coffee, but it turned into a whole annoying project. The instructions were unclear, and I kept having to stop and recheck everything because it just didn’t match up well. I even had the little screws sitting in a cereal bowl so I wouldn’t lose them, and somehow it still felt like a mess. Took way longer than expected, i wouldn’t want to deal with it again.

"Install took way longer than it should have"
I really thought this was going to be a quick setup, but it ended up being way more annoying than I expected. The instructions were alright, but not clear enough in a couple spots, and I had to redo one part twice because it started leaking a little. It basically messed up the afternoon plans I had, which was frustrating. I did get it working in the end, but it definitely wasn’t as easy or painless as I was hoping.

"Custom filter felt kind of overhyped"
I went in already a little skeptical about the whole custom filter thing, and this didn’t really change my mind. It felt generic to me, not especially tailored or custom. Maybe I was expecting too much, but it mostly just confirmed what I already thought.

I think the filter is doing its job, the water definitely tastes better, or at least it seems that way to me. So on that part, I don’t really have any complaints. The only thing is the price. For what it costs, I kind of expected the replacements to be a bit cheaper or maybe for the whole thing to feel like a better deal. It seems like a solid product overall, but I’m not sure it’s the best choice if you’re trying to save money. I’ll keep using it for now, though I’m not completely sure I’ll keep buying it at this price

"Didn’t clear things up as much as I expected"
I bought the Hydroviv filter because our city water has had PFAS and chlorine concerns, and I was kind of rushing to get something set up fast. The chlorine taste did seem a little better, but after trying some test strips and then a lab kit, there were still things showing up higher than I expected.

Maybe it works better depending on the water in your area, but for the price, I was hoping for more obvious results. Customer service was fine, but I just didn’t feel confident enough to keep using it.

"Ordering was way more annoying than it needed to be"
I tried ordering a filter from Hydroviv Water Filters the whole checkout process was a pain. The site was loading slowly, my cart changed on me once, and I had to type my info in more than one time. On top of that, it kept making me verify things over and over, which got old really fast.
It should’ve been a quick 5-minute order, but it turned into this annoying back-and-forth just to get through checkout. By the end, I didn’t really feel confident that everything had gone through properly. Not a great first experience.

It worked well in the beginning, so I figured it was going to be a decent buy. But after a few months the plastic housing cracked, which was disappointing. For the price, I just expected it to hold up longer. I mean, I didn’t drop it or anything, so it seems like it should’ve lasted, especially since it looked sturdy when I bought it.

I tried to cancel my subscription it was way more frustrating than it needed to be. I couldn’t find a clear cancel button anywhere, support emails took forever to get a response, and then I still got charged again. Super annoying for something that should be simple.

Very unfortunate and unfair experience with Hydroviv Under-Sink Water System. Im a disabled veteran and I purchased just one filter system with the promise for clean, readily accessible water for my kitchen sink. Regrettably, my experience has been far from satisfactory or desirable. From the beginning I tried to open the filter system and couldn't. I emailed customer service several times until they responded. You cant call them. They do not answer phones. Very antiquated company. Dealing with a lack of professionalism and customer service it's not something I expected to face after investing in a water filtration system designed to improve my household and the price being charged. I was told to install the system anyway. Why would anyone do that? I cant remove the filter cap!! If installed they would not accept a return. Returns are a joke with this company too! I told them my issues, im disabled, a veteran, older and cant open the cap holding the filter. They dont have a customer friendly return policy. You have to pay the shipping to send this back and top of all this they charge you a 25% restock fee!! its defective! Its a scamming company that feeds upon disabled older folks. I was told exceptions could be made for the restocking fee. Then I was told after sending it back that there are no exceptions. It was uninstalled, in the original box with nothing missing. In conclusion, I wont be buying any other products from Hydroviv. I recommend staying away from this company because they are unprofessional and scammers. When investing in a water filtration system, the customer seeks trust, confidence, and a peace of mind, not feeling being taken advantage of. Unfortunately, my experience with Hydroviv has not delivered on these expectations and should be shunned and investigated.
